from the "Chairs Triangle" Industrial Cluster
The
"Chairs Triangle" covers an area of 90 square
kilometres. Taking in 11 boroughs in the Province
of Udine, with a population of 37,000 inhabitants.
General
Data
There are over 1,000 companies manufacturing chairs,
tables and other furniture items.
Over 250 companies who put their finished products
on the market achieve a total turnover of 4,000 billion
lira. Over 44 million chairs are produced annually
which is the equivalent of 80% of Italy's total production,
50% of European total production and 30% of the world's
total production.
