Norms and Regulation certificates within the furniture industry
are set on evaluating how a product conforms to the relative safety
standards authorities. The main safety standardisation certificates
for the furniture industry are:

is a free association with no commercial interests, founded in
1921 and recognised in 1955 by being awarded the D.P.R. 1522 and
the European authority norm CEE 83/189.
Its aim is to issue technical regulations and general technical
standards which are of interest to producers or traders, to set
standards in materials used, equipment, machinery and plant systems
and to promote the widespread use and adoption of these technical
norms and regulations.
